Terms of Use
Last updated August 4, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Nannybase, an app operated by
OrbitiaLabs LLC ("we," "us," "OrbitiaLabs"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree
to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Nannybase.
What Nannybase is
Nannybase is a coordination app for a family and the nanny they employ — shared scheduling,
daily logging, messaging, expense tracking, and payroll-compliance tracking for one or more
household workspaces. Nannybase is not a nanny-sourcing or matching service, and it does not
process payroll, calculate pay, or handle any tax filing itself — see "Payroll" below.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a Nannybase account. Accounts are held by
adults — the employing parent(s) and the nanny they work with — not by children.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter into your family's workspace and for
keeping access to your account secure.
- A nanny may belong to more than one family's workspace at once; each is a fully separate
account relationship, and these Terms apply to your use of each one independently.
Subscriptions — Nannybase Plus
- Daily logs, messaging, milestones, expense tracking, and the payroll-compliance toolkit
require an active Nannybase Plus subscription. Schedule viewing and clock‑in/out stay free for
every family, with or without a subscription.
- Nannybase Plus is $4.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 14‑day free trial for
new subscribers.
- Subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, per
whichever store you subscribed through. Payment is charged to your store account at
confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least
24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription any time in
your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — not inside the Nannybase app itself.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited once you purchase a subscription, where
applicable.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own respective refund policies — we
don't process refunds directly and can't override a store's refund decision.
- Subscription billing is per family workspace, not per person — see the app's own
description for how this applies to nanny-shares.
Payroll — what Nannybase does and doesn't do
Nannybase never calculates or displays gross or net pay, never collects Social Security numbers
or bank/routing numbers, and never files taxes on your behalf. It helps you track self-reported
household-employer compliance steps (Schedule H, state unemployment insurance, workers'
compensation, Form I‑9) and hands off actual payroll processing to a third-party specialist you
choose. Nannybase is not responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, or outcome of any payroll
processing, tax filing, or compliance advice provided by that third party — your relationship
with your payroll specialist is separate from, and not governed by, these Terms.
Your content
- You keep ownership of what you enter into Nannybase — logs, messages, photos, documents,
and everything else. You grant us only the limited right to store and display it back to your
family's workspace so the app can function.
- Every family workspace's data is isolated from every other family's — a nanny working for
two families never has one family's data bleed into the other's.
- Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or content that's unlawful,
harassing, or infringing.
Acceptable use
Don't use Nannybase to violate any law, harass or endanger anyone, attempt to access another
family's workspace without authorization, reverse-engineer the app, or interfere with its normal
operation.
Disclaimers
Nannybase is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be
uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose beyond what's described in the app.
Nannybase is a coordination and record-keeping tool — it is not legal, tax, accounting, or HR
advice, and using it doesn't substitute for consulting a qualified professional about your own
household-employer obligations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OrbitiaLabs LLC won't be liable for indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nannybase, including any loss
arising from a third-party payroll specialist's actions or a schedule/logging error. Our total
liability for any claim relating to Nannybase is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12
months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using Nannybase and delete your account at any time (see the
Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate access for a real
violation of these Terms, including unauthorized access attempts to another family's workspace.
Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where
required, notify you in the app.
